What Karryn’s Prison Is and Isn’t
Karryn’s Prison ISN’T an eroge for the impatient or anyone who wants to come in for a quick fap in two minutes and get off and get out. All sexual activities take place inside the battle system, and Karryn will not have sex at the start of the game while she’s an inexperienced virgin who has never been touched by a man before. This is not a eroge where you can download a ‘full save’ for this game and expect to instantly access all sex scenes, or make Karryn have sex with the first guy she meets minutes into starting the game even though she’s a complete virgin with a Slut Level of 1. There’s nothing wrong with needing something easily accessible for a quick fap in a hot minute, there are many eroges in the market including our very own selection for that, but Karryn’s Prison’s aim isn’t that.
Karryn’s Prison ISN’T an eroge where the female protagonist will go from zero slut to full slut in the span of one scene.

Karryn’s Prison IS a game that will try to make you, the player, and also Karryn, lose and game over. Losing battles are common. Most players will most certainly reach a Bad Ending and Game Over on their first blind playthrough. Losing, and having a Game Over is expected and fun in this game. Karryn’s Prison is a hard game if you play to win, but it’s hard not because it’s unfairly unfair, but because it’s fairly unfair, if that makes sense to you. Exploring, experimenting, losing, trying again, and such are all part of the game and the learning curve. Learn and master the game’s various system and at some point the game will be so easy to you that you will begin to lose battles and get game over on purpose for specific gains, and you WILL want to lose on purpose after you’ve completely learned how the game works. Karryn’s Prison has a New Game Plus system that after you’ve reached an ending, good or bad, you will have the choice to carry over certain progress.
Karryn’s Prison ISN’T an eroge where you can skip and ignore all the instructions and tips provided by the various ingame NPCs. Karryn’s Prison isn’t like any game before it with its many unique game systems, and you will be completely lost and have no fun if you don’t approach the game with the intent to learn it. Do not bring knowledge from other games before Karryn’s Prison into it. While you’re a newbie, do not purposely stall and drag battles out with wait/defend skills or otherwise play the game in an unfun or tedious way. Once you’ve began to master the game, you can then make the informed decision on whether or not to purposely stall out certain battles because at that point you understand what the expected outcome is.
Karryn’s Prison IS a game that rewards time spent on it to learn the game. Karryn’s Prison IS a game that rewards experimenting and playing around the game’s various systems once you have begun to understand how they work. Although not necessary to do for most people to have fun and get their money’s worth out of the game, Karryn’s Prison IS a game that strongly rewards players who want to repeatedly reset the game through New Game Plus to try, tinker and play with different builds and choices.
Karryn’s Prison IS an eroge with a lot of stats and numbers. And a lot of sex stats and records. And over four hundred potential Passives that Karryn may find herself developing.
Karryn’s Prison ISN’T an eroge where the sex scenes are always the same.
Karryn’s Prison IS an eroge where everything Karryn has done and have happen to her will influence the context in every battle and every sexual activity. Karryn’s Edicts, Passives, and how you direct Karryn during the battle, all provide the narrative and context before, during and after the sex.

Difficulties
Secretary Mode – Recommended for players who want to play the game on the lowest difficulty on their own pace and reach an ending.

Play "Prisoner Mode" if you want the steepest learning curve ever lol.
Avoid mixing routes (stat wise) at any cost really!! Fixing that is incredibly hard, as I'm experiencing. Two bad endings already -_-'

Two Questions: Was the voice acting done first in English or Japanese? And will there be Rumble/Force Feedback support?
normally i dont complain about pricing for a game but as someone making their own game as well i know it can get difficult sometimes but 30$ is way too much especially in this economy where gas alone costs roughly that much just for one tank of gas, those who spend this amount of money on a hentai game when there are other games that are free and way better looking and have a better play style with many many more endings than yours are either lonely or insane or all the above.
Karryn's Prison is on sale for $25.49 until 03.23.23 on Steam it is also $25.49 and on Dlsite it is also $24.96 I think for a promotional price it is ok for the amount you get and how the game continues to be supported with new updates where the game is improved with new small new content added. The game has been optimized to run more smoothly on weaker systems and Karryn's Prison has also added more languages because the community has requested it. The developers let the community participate for the future plans of the game. The game is also getting new content like GYM DLC which is in the works. Karryn's Prison is one of the games that is hard to replace with another hentay game in my opinion. Karryn's Prison is also the only game I have played through 3 times without getting bored.
Of course there are also cheaper good hentay games under $10/20 where the size is similar and the quality is similarly good, but I personally don't know of any hentay game that could replace Karryn's Prison in terms of game depth, concept, design and the H- Scene.
black lilith makes hentai games with more depth and design and even has multiple endings and multiple quest systems you can get 99% of their hentai games for free on either f95zone or their actual site and even then alot of their games get sequels or have continuing story lines and dlcs. they charge roughly 15-20 usd on their site but on f95zone they post the free versions of their games as well.
as for pricing on this one it's still ridiculously over priced for a hentai game, i myself have been working on a game in rpg maker mv for over 4 years building my own game solo doing my own artwork and then some so i dont have to spend money or charge people for my own game when i release it, i could understand 5-10$ at the most because of time and effort put into the game but when you over charge this much for a game thats based around sex it doesn't become worth the money hell if you really wanted to find something to masturbate to, then go to a strip club the gas prices alone would cost 30 or so dollars to even get there alone, its not worth the investment when there are free games with just the same amount of graphics design concept and game depth and way more hentai scenes, if you want to find a game that can and will replace this one try out f95zone.
First of all thank you for answering me. now I understand you better what you mean, but I think your comparisons are not too good. I have read up on the "Black lilith" Hentay game and F95zone. Most of the Black Lilith Hentay games I have found are visual novel which Karryn's Prison is not. That would be like comparing FIFA 23 to a soccer game on TV and saying FIFA 23 has bad graphics because it looks better on TV and ignoring all aspects. The only thing you can compare is story and design and the decision choice. Karryn's Prison has more than one story and choices. Please see the description. For the hentay scene, I would agree that Black Lilith Hentay Games has better hentay scene and story, but Karryn's Prison gives you more gameplay and a better overall package. But I don't want to deny your opinion and say that your opinion is wrong. I just want to give another view on it and to better understand it. The site F95zone I have no opinion it can be good it can also be bad in the last studies is said that illegal downloads even good for the game industry, because thus more purchasing power and support entstehet in the late course for the industry can grow and thus the shame is less than the profit. f95zone is primarily a piracy site despite some people posting their own games there(usually people who get their income from patreon or similar.) Black Lilith does not release their games for free (except for Action Taimanin but that is riddled with microtransactions) and they do not post their own games on f95zone.

How don't you get bored? you played through it 3 times? more like 30 with all of the game-overs to make players feel completely hopeless with not many rewards once you progress.
This game isn't even as complicated as you say either. You make it seen its a game of chess when it's really not. Just because you may have to attack an enemy different than another enemy does not make it a complex system, it just means I gotta click more buttons.
The H scenes are kinda mid, It gets super repetitive playing the game on the same level being limited to the same H scenes over and over until I subjugate the level I'm on. The nothing much to explore in the game except a small, cramped prison with not much interactivity. like at least give us side quest of some sort.
There are games out there that are non H games that are actually worth 30 dollars, the only reason you get as many hours you do from this game is starting over and over, the game forces you to have those hours. If I bought a title worth 30 dollars then they'd give me the 30+ hour experience without forcing me and all of those hours if=s filled with content.
Dying over and over isn't content, its a game mechanic stretched out completely by these developers.
I didn't get bored, because one run doesn't take too long and I could finish it quickly. I am a person who wants to try everything, so all levels of difficulty and challenges. I played through the game 3 times in a row, but took a break on each run. From 1 to 2 weeks to increase my curiosity. That's why I did not get bored so quickly.
This game is not as complicated as a chess game, no one said it was. If you want to get to the good end, you have to at least use your head a little bit to get there. If you just start running without knowing how the enemies work or how the level system works, or get tips from the tutorial guards, you won't make it.
With H-scenes I would agree with you that in the same level you see too often the same H-scene just a bit different and Karren herself also has only one H-animation per category when she herself becomes active. Each level (5) also has a Game over H-scene which means when Karren loses in battle, she is brought to a certain room for example in the first level in Bar and the second level in WC Kabinen to have fun with her. There are also side activities where Karryn can work as a bartender, receptionist, stripper and as a toilet woman where she gets benefits. where there are also special H-scenes for every part-time job. where there are also special H-scenes for every part-time job. Yes, I also think it's a pity that “Karryn Prison” is structured in such a linear way and there is only one way and there are no side quests, for example the rooms branch off. Where you meet other opponents or something similar. You could have gotten more out there.
I don't find $30 a little and I think the price is too high. Personally, I compare "Karryn's Prsion" with other H-Games that have a similar structure. For me personally it makes no sense to compare an H-Game to a non-H-Game. That would be like comparing a racing game to a shooter or comparing "GTA 5" to "Call of Duty" because both have shooter elements. I would compare "Karryn Prison" to "Colette the Cum Collecting Alchemist" or "Treasure Hunter Claire ~Cum Collecting Adventurer~" as an example.

Sorry but you are trying to defend this game too hard, you may enjoy it that much yourself, but the game is really not worth 30 dollars in current standards, maybe that was a good for like 4 or 5 years ago but ever since the quarantine hit nsfw games quality skyrocketed and games like karryn's prison was left behind long ago, so from a neutral perspective the game is worth around 10 to 15 dollars currently, and 20 to 25 with all the dlc. The best selling point of this game is that its actually unique in its own term as it doesn't follow the 'normal' path of most other casual eroge games, it really shows that the devs clearly care about the uniqueness of their game and the community.

I am having some trouble with starting the game.
All the files are unzipped and ready, executing the nw.exe file opens what I believe to be the game. It is, however, a non-stop black screen with the program header "Karryn's Prison - Loading"
I have two tips how you can fix your error
1st tip is close all browsers so goggel Crome, Internet Explorer, Opera and so on.
2nd tip is download RPG Maker VX Ace from the site: "https://www.rpgmakerweb.com/run-time-package" this is the engine where the game runs.
